Kang Daniel had his ‘First Parade’ in Singapore on 11 February 2023, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

There was a photo wall outside the stadium for fans. As soon as we entered the venue, we were given a set of exclusive First Parade signed photocards. The sweet fans also gifted everyone with a heart-shaped light and banner.

The seats were close to the stage, with his fans, also known as Danity, seated right in front and along the extended stage.

The stage set up was simple, which made you focus on the artist himself as he started his concert with Who U Are, a high energy song with a mysterious vibe, accompanied by strong red lights.

He then continued the alluring theme with songs like Don’t Tell, Waves, Parade, TOUCHIN’ and Selfish.

It was interesting to note that the dance choreography included Latin-inspired moves.

It may be because he started out as a street dancer, but his unique and effortless natural groove made his dance enjoyable to watch. He matched well with the dancers that he towered over in height.

Kang Daniel ensured his message was received by his fans at the stadium when he introduced himself and thanked Danity for supporting him since his debut as Wanna One till his debut as a solo artist.

He had three main costume changes following that, and then stripped down in a comfortable shirt and jeans for his encore.

The second segment showed a cool and fresh Kang Daniel as he wore a pink and blue denim hoodie jacket. He started performing at the extended stage then.

He showed off his playful charm with upbeat songs like 2U and Upside Down.

Halfway through, Kang Daniel played the Balance Game. He had to choose between two choices. For example, he chose to be a human with a fish body, rather than a fish with human legs. He also made the logical choice of choosing to change ‘clothes per song’ instead of ‘makeup’ in a concert scenario.

Performances for Danity then continued, as he sang to more mature songs like Jealous, Misunderstood, Loser and Paranoia.

Towards the end, he slowed down with just himself and a mic stand as he serenaded his fans. The finale was met with Nirvana.

There was nothing too fancy about the concert, and it was an enjoyable Kpop concert in Singapore!
